That night, the first Pure Spiritual Shape came to me.
I felt the powerful serpent would guide me towards something bigger, something unknown.
I was certain: that something wouldn’t just be mine.

That night I saw this mandala,
This sun,
I witnessed the snake navigate across the boundless universe.
I watched as it detached itself from everything obsolete.

Like a tree sheds the bark which once protected it.
The bark protected it. Not anymore.
The bark becomes compost which nourishes the earth
It nourishes its own roots.

Like our past experiences
nurture us to become wiser and stronger
Like the snake sheds skins.
